The first of its kind, this store seamlessly blends the fast-paced energy of a shopping mall with a calm, inviting interior. Located on a prominent corner in Brooklyn Mall, the space radiates outward, opening onto a tranquil outdoor seating area immersed in nature.

The design concept accommodates both quick, high-turnover use and more relaxed occupation. Users can transition effortlessly from a fast-paced morning coffee setting to a calm lounge environment. These spaces are distinctly defined by a perforated brick screen wall, which frames an aesthetic backdrop of wood, clay, and glass materials.

The darker, more intimate zone is delicately illuminated by warm light emitted from a lightbox, creating a sense of comfort and retreat. A high communal table positioned along the edge of the space allows users to engage with the exterior—ideal for quick meetings or extended work sessions—supported by access to power and comfortable leather seating.

In contrast, the lighter-toned area opens generously toward the outside. The bar is accentuated by a textured glass and copper-framed ceiling feature, which floods the space with light, echoing the rich, organic flow associated with Seattle’s coffee culture. This feature becomes the focal point of the store, celebrating the craft of coffee-making as a visible and shared experience.
