Lenz Quarter is a retail development that introduces a fresh take on the standard shopping centre.
Amidst the challenge of the project being west-facing and the opportunity to deviate from a long
linear form, the proposal resulted in an environmentally responsive and pleasant space.

The building hosts a variety of louvres, slats, and planted screens to provide sun shading. This lightweight façade stands in contrast to the heavy, typical walled facades of conventional shopping centers. The project incorporated various spaces such as medical suites, courtyards, and eateries, all woven together by natural light and greenery. The courtyards, featuring glass blocks, cleverly delineate spaces while permitting the interplay of diffused light onto earthy materials and textures.
