The Sasol Rosebank project, centered on the forecourt of the filling station, drew inspiration from the neighboring Everard Read Gallery.
This inspiration materialized in the translation of the gallery’s organic facade of timber slats into an undulating timber ceiling for the forecourt. This innovative ceiling design incorporated nodes of greenery, creating points of interest and defining the spatial experience.

The sculptural form of the ceiling serves as an invitation, extending outward to the street and
enveloping users within the space. This design not only pays homage to the nearby gallery but also contributes to an immersive and visually striking atmosphere, seamlessly integrating the filling station into its artistic and urban context.
