The KFC store in Gabon called for an environmental reinterpretation of the distinct brand façade. This proposal formed part of the KFC global aesthetic and the design proposal therefore endeavoured to break away from the typical KFC look and feel and introduce a sustainable flagship store.

The envisioned restaurant seamlessly integrates various natural elements and materials, including timber cladding and multiple green planted walls.

Given Gabon’s humid climate, the design considerately introduces various screens and sun-shading elements to create a comfortable interior environment. Additionally, the proposal also incorporates numerous windows and vistas, fostering a connection to nature and enhancing the overall user experience.
