This Sasol filling station drew inspiration from the design cues of the Sasol Head Office building. The flowing lines, dynamic lighting, and distinctive shape of the precedent were translated into an elegant folding structure.

In this proposal, a lighter interpretation of these elements was embraced, featuring fair-toned
concrete, timber, and greenery. Sasol Northgate stands as a sustainable filling station, integrating features such as natural daylighting through clerestory windows, passive ventilation through louvres, the inclusion of plants, and electric car charging bays.

The design prioritized user experiences, leading to the creation of an appealing courtyard with designated pause spaces. This approach not only reflects a commitment to sustainability but also enhances the overall aesthetics and functionality of the filling station.
