The proposal aimed to connect and blend with nature and did so by focusing on environmental sustainability and rendering in earthy tones and natural materials. Sustainability was achieved by the development being off-grid through endeavours such as water harvesting, filtering and solar power.

A notable focal point is the gatehouse, serving as a prominent beacon that warmly welcomes
guests to the secluded site. Its distinctive features include a gracefully curved thatch roof and an impressive height, adding to the overall allure of the retreat.
